Chile. The first cars that will operate on Line 1 of the Metro of the city of Santiago arrived in the region of San Antonio and that will have a new air conditioning system.
The first nine cars will feature an air cooling system located on the roof. For its operation, 60% of air collected from the outside and 40% from the inside (to produce a renewal effect) will be fed, which, once cooled, will be distributed throughout the interior of the wagon.
From the month of October these cars will come into operation and it is expected that within a month a new shipment will arrive. The trains also have amenities such as wheelchair spaces and 10% of the total seats reserved for pregnant women or the elderly.
