Brazil. Two technologies for the control of water flow have joined forces in the effort to make air conditioning more efficient. The topic was presented at a recent conference held at the headquarters of the Southern Brazilian Association of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Heating and Ventilation (Asbrav). The aim was to explain the technical details of the independent pressure valve and the power valve.
Some of the recommendations presented at the meeting spoke about the current importance in the concern of systems to be efficient. "The products are designed for sustainable design and focused against energy waste," explained Belimo's product manager, Julio Londoño.
Among the benefits of independent pressure technology are the elimination of problems in variable flow systems; it also prevents the need for new balancing when the system has changed. Pumping costs are also reduced and the service life of the system increases.
Another recommendation is that efficient systems need a team capable of measuring, controlling and adapting to changes, especially in the partial loads where they operate most of the time, according to Rodrigo Miranda, director of Mercato, a company that distributes automation equipment.
Asbrav periodically offers free lectures for companies and HVAC industry professionals conducted by its members. To receive the schedule of the conferences you can write to the mail [email protected] . Learn more at www.asbrav.org.br
