Mexico. In the facilities of the "Corona" ice factory, local media reported an ammonia fuga from the cooling chamber, at which time the workers increased the pressure of the pipes and hoses, which caused the gas to escape.
The local newspaper El Siete said that the escape that occurred in the facilities located in the city of Chiapas "caused slight irritation of mucosa in the people who passed through the place." Fire personnel arrived in the area, covered the leak with rubber packaging, and then blocked the valve.
The neighbors of the place told the newspaper that they demand that the company install the necessary security measures to prevent this type of situation from happening again, because according to them, this is not the first time that an event of these happens in this ice factory in bar.
