Colombia. The city of Medellín hosted one of the most important events in energy matters: The Energy Week Latin America and the Caribbean 2007, which emerged as an initiative of the Electric Energy Cluster, with the purpose of integrating the 4 most important events of the energy sector in the region, such as the XXXVIII Meeting of Ministers of Energy of Latin America and the Caribbean; the II Regional Energy Integration Forum – FIER 2007; the III CIER Energy Congress – CONCIER 2007 and the II International Electricity Sector Fair – FISE 2007.
The main objective was to consolidate the country as a benchmark in Latin America in energy matters, in addition to supporting the positioning of companies in the sector.
At the end of November, this week of continuous work was carried out that sought to extend the momentum of regional energy integration with academic activities, high-level political meetings and private sector entrepreneurs.
