International. Intarcon announced the expansion of its Waterloop product range, with the development of R-290 water-cooled generators for commercial refrigeration and R-290 low-profile evaporators.
According to the company, this equipment has been optimized to offer greater efficiency and sustainability in refrigeration facilities such as supermarkets or industrial kitchens.
R-290 water-cooled units
The R290 water-cooled units are designed for medium and low temperature cooling. They have a compact and quiet size, suitable for wall, floor or refrigeration installation. Intarcon also reported that the R290 water-cooled groups now include the following new features:
- Equipment supplied without refrigerant charge.
- Reciprocating hermetic compressor or scroll on anti-vibration support with acoustic insulation.
- Body in pre-lacquered galvanized steel sheet, with sound-absorbing coating, with removable front registers for access to compressor and electrical panel.
- Stainless steel welded plate condenser. Refrigeration circuit with container, filter, sight glass, high and low pressure switches, and valves to be welded.
- Driven safety valve.
- Hydraulic condensing circuit in copper tube with threaded connections.
- Electromechanical control electrical panel with magnetothermal protection.
- Defrosting by hot gas.
R-290 Low Profile Evaporators
These compact evaporation units were designed for small cold rooms with R290.
- High flow axial motor fans.
- High-efficiency air cooling coil, made of copper tubes and aluminum fins, with 6 mm fin pitch.
- Refrigeration connections for welding, with suction line siphon integrated into the unit.
- Foldable condensate tray in aluminum.
- Anti-regulating drain resistance (only low temperature models).
