Colombia. On October 17, an important collaborative event was held in Bogotá between the National Learning Service (SENA) and the companies Oldach and Midea MBT.
According to the organizers, this event marked a milestone in the technical training of the students of the state institution, by offering them a practical learning space dedicated to state-of-the-art air conditioning systems.
To achieve this, Oldach Colombia SAS facilitated a fully functional space at SENA, equipped with a variable refrigerant air conditioning system. This facility allows students to work directly with the equipment, perform diagnostics, detect faults and gain knowledge of the operation and maintenance of Midea variable refrigerant systems, one of the most important manufacturers in the HVAC market.
Thanks to this initiative, SENA students now have a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience with state-of-the-art technology. This type of project not only enriches their academic training, but also better prepares them for the challenges of the world of work in the HVAC (heating, ventilation and air conditioning) sector.
The event was attended by SENA directors, representatives of Oldach and the Colombian Association of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (Acaire), who highlighted the importance of this type of initiative for the growth of the industry and the strengthening of technical education in Colombia.
"The event was a success and represents an ongoing commitment by Oldach and Midea MBT to education, as well as their interest in driving the growth and development of future professionals in the HVAC industry. Undoubtedly, this collaboration is an investment in the future of technical talent in Colombia," the companies said.
