International. ATMOsphere has announced that its ATMO LATAM Summit 2025 will be held on February 19 and 20, 2025 in Mexico City.
This will be the second face-to-face edition of ATMO LATAM. The first was held in November 2023, also in Mexico City. An online version of the summit was held in 2020 as part of the ATMO America virtual conference.
The two-day event will bring together a diverse group of key industry players, including end-users, manufacturers, policymakers, and contractors. Participants will explore the opportunities and challenges surrounding natural refrigerants in the region's commercial and industrial HVAC&R sectors.
The summit will provide a unique opportunity for participants to connect with regional and international experts and thought leaders, with multiple networking sessions scheduled and a drinks reception, taking place on the first night.
ATMO LATAM 2025 will feature an extensive program of keynote speeches, round tables and case study presentations. Among the topics to be discussed are the regulations of fluorinated gases, the environmental impact of per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), as well as the latest market trends and technological advances in natural refrigerants.
Presentations will cover efficient and sustainable cooling solutions using natural refrigerants such as CO2 (R744), propane (R290) and ammonia (R717), giving attendees a comprehensive overview of technologies in the industry.
"The use of natural refrigerants in HVAC&R solutions is growing in Latin America and we are thrilled to provide the opportunity for all industry players to learn, participate and help accelerate the transition to greener cooling technology alternatives with natural refrigerants," said Marc Chasserot, CEO and co-founder of ATMOsphere.
All sessions will be bilingual, with translation into English and Spanish. Registration for the conference will open soon.
