Mexico. In collaboration with Tecnológico de Monterrey, San Luis Campus, Daikin celebrated the inauguration of its new offices in San Luis Potosí. This represents a significant step in the company's industrial growth and expansion strategy.
With these offices, Daikin seeks to strengthen its growth plan through its MEDC (Mexico Engineering & Design Center) area to become the best Engineering Development center in its class, taking advantage of the strategic location to position itself in the North American market.
In addition, the collaboration seeks to increase research, recruit local talent, implement training programs, and participate in development initiatives.
The relationship between Daikin and Tecnológico de Monterrey is part of an alliance to foster collaboration between research professors, bilingual professionals, students and Daikin's technical experts in air conditioning systems. The new offices are located in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Park of ITESM Campus San Luis and have the capacity to house around 100 Daikin employees.
The opening ceremony was attended by Andrés Benavides, CEO of Daikin Manufacturing Mexico, Murilo Bonilha, director of MEDC and Ali Saidi, VP Engineering of Daikin Applied. On behalf of Tecnológico de Monterrey, Marco Vargas, General Director of the San Luis Campus, was present, and on behalf of the Government of the State of San Luis Potosí, Néstor Eduardo Garza, Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare.
"The opening of these offices represents a commitment to innovation, local growth and excellence in product development, cementing Daikin's position as one of the leaders in the air conditioning market in North America," the manufacturer said.
