Chile. Intersam reported on the successful completion of the second stage of a pioneering industrial refrigeration facility in Salar del Carmen, Chile.
Specifically, the Spanish company installed equipment with the capacity to handle a total thermal load of 6.5 MW.
Previously, Intersam was also responsible for successfully carrying out the first phase of the project, located in Chile's Antofagasta region.

Today, Intersam has 25 years of experience in the manufacture of heat exchangers.
Key aspects of the second phase
A total of five DRY units were installed. IDW-9185B 6P BG with water-based cooling systems.
A NEMA 4X control system was also chosen, which offers durability and optimal performance, even in harsh weather conditions.
According to the manufacturer, its equipment is not only characterized by its energy efficiency but also contributes significantly to the sustainability of the project and the preservation of the environment.
