SODECA Latam will produce ventilators according to European standard

Colombia. The company SODECA reported that it expanded its certification with the aim of manufacturing F400 classified ventilators in Colombia, according to the EN 12101-3 standard.

Thanks to this, SODECA's production centre in the Andean country will manufacture some 38 product references with the technical specifications required in Europe for electric fans for temperature and smoke control.

Currently, SODECA produces ventilation systems with a dual purpose: for daily ventilation (comfort) and for emergency ventilation (fire situation).

In the event of a fire, the ventilation system controls the spread of smoke and heat. For this reason, the equipment is certified under the EN 12101-3 standard by accredited and independent laboratories.

Among the impacted solutions are various types of helical extractors, centrifugal extractors and dynamic wall extractors, as well as dynamic exhaust vents, extraction units, powerful jet fans and centrifugal fans.

In this way, a wide range of products with guaranteed quality are now available for the Latin American market.
