Mexico. The U.S. company Resideo announced an investment of more than 4.9 million dollars (99 million Mexican pesos) to establish a corporate office in Aguascalientes, from where it will provide support and attention to customers in the United States and Canada.
The governor of Aguascalientes, María Teresa Jiménez, stressed that the state offers optimal conditions for business growth, with connectivity, security and trained talent. He stressed the importance of diversifying the local economy with strategic sectors such as information technology, semiconductors, clean energy and electromobility.
"We are one of the most productive and high-quality states, with everything that is needed to continue growing," he said.
For his part, Kirk Klopfenstein, Vice President of Customer Experience at Resideo, explained that the company develops technology and smart solutions for security, comfort and efficiency in the home, such as thermostats, smoke detectors and air purifiers.
The new office, located in the north of the city, will generate more than 150 highly skilled jobs and will focus on customer service and marketing strategies.
Resideo Technologies, Inc. is a multinational company that emerged in 2018 after a spin-off from Honeywell, and specializes in security and environmental control systems for homes in the U.S. and other international markets.
