The original idea for this cover came from a real HVAC technician, who tied a speaker magnet to an umbrella to try to stay cool while working outdoors. Subsequently, the Tradefox brand, belonging to the Supco company, carried out the refinement of the design, before proceeding to patent it.
The Mukit features 60'' wide coverage, provided by a UV-coated waterproof umbrella and flexible and durable fiberglass rods.
The umbrella's patented base can be rotated and locked, while the heavy-duty magnet attaches securely to any metal housing. The solution also includes a safety cord that is fixed on the hex nut in the assembly, to secure the umbrella to the work area.
