International. IIAR declared Luis Gabriel Gutiérrez Padilla the winner of its 2023 Presentation Excellence Award for his Spanish-language presentation on "Mechanical Integrity in Refrigeration Evaporators" at the IIAR 2023 Annual Conference.
The award, formerly called the "Andy Ammonia Award" from IIAR (International Institute of Ammonia Refrigeration), was created, according to the organization, "to recognize the crucial role that education and information sharing plays within the refrigeration industry, and to recognize the expertise generously shared by our volunteers."
That is, this year in Long Beach Gabriel Gutiérrez met the requirements of the IIAR to submit a technical article (paper) and later make a presentation on the subject, but it was the public that attended the event who chose it as the winner, because the dynamics of this recognition is that it is based on the comments provided by the attendees of the conference.
Finally, IIAR stated, in front of the 2023 IIAR Spanish Award for Excellence in International Presentation that: "Our Spanish-speaking colleagues are especially recognized for their significant efforts to convey important concepts and information to Spanish-speaking professionals in our industry."
