Colombia. Within the framework of the last Expo Acaire 2022 in Bogotá, the XVII National Meeting of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Instructors of the SENA (National Learning Service) was held simultaneously.
This space was also held within the framework of the implementation of Stage II of the National HCFC Elimination Plan in Colombia, organized by the Ozone Technical Unit as an event for the technological dissemination of good practices for commercial refrigeration equipment and systems with R-290 hydrocarbon refrigerant.
The objective of this meeting was to continue supporting the training of instructors in the refrigeration and air conditioning area of SENA Training Centers throughout the country.
The following were some of the topics that were handled:
- Fundamentals of Inverter technology in the Rac sector
- Energy Efficiency in Inverter type air conditioners
- Good practices for commercial refrigeration equipment and systems with hydrocarbon refrigerant R-290
- Visit supermarkets with R-290 equipment
- Hands-on demonstration session - Weston installations
- Activities of the National Subnetwork of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning of SENA and the School of Instructors – SENA
