Latin America. At an event held in Puerto Rico, Samsung presented its new WindFree solution. A state-of-the-art DVM S2, the brand's novelty in VRF systems, available for the entire Latin American region. This device reduces energy consumption and the emission of toxic substances, among other advantages.
This event was in charge of the AC team in Panama, where WindFree is already available for sale and distribution in Central America, the Caribbean, Ecuador and Venezuela.
This new VRF uses a Dual Inverter compressor with a steam injection system. So the compressor provides cooling and heating quickly, with minimal energy consumption. That is, the use of these units contributes to saving energy and reducing the negative impact on the environment.
It should be noted that the DVM S2 promotes fuel balance without the need for an additional balancing tube. In addition, the units help reduce toxic substances through the use of R-410A, a greener refrigerant.
As for the installation, this unit facilitates this work, as it has a compact and lighter design. While poleless communication between internal and external drives promotes easier, as well as safer wiring work, as the outdoor unit protects itself if the wired communication is mistakenly connected to a power terminal.
However, the DVM S2 has an extended pipe of a length of up to 220 m (721.79 ft), without diminishing performance. With this technology, the facility is available for a maximum height of 110 m (360.89 ft), the equivalent of a 20-story building.
It highlights its AFI motor control technology that allows a wider frequency range of 10~180 Hz. With a new value in low of 10 Hz, if compared to the previous model that had a minimum of 14 Hz, which makes this system more stable at low frequencies.
Finally, this device features artificial intelligence (AI) with deep neural network algorithms that allows an optimized operation of the system. What it includes: smart defrosting, low refrigerant monitoring, high and low pressure control.
