Costa Rica. The Refricon 2021 air conditioning congress, organized by the company Refrimundo, in virtual mode, was successfully held on June 5, managing to reach all corners of the country and cross its borders for the first time.
The congress developed 4 conferences around its main theme: Present and future of the IAQ: Indoor air technologies. The first conference was developed by the Engineer Fabio M. Clavijo P.E who developed the topic of air conditioning and Covid 19 – advances and proposals. Then the second conference "Air quality in in-hospital environments" by Mr. Ph.D. Rigoberto Blanco Saénz. The third conference by Engineer David Ortiz Gómez, who presented on "Success stories: implementation of IAQ technologies: Soler & Palau, Mexico". Finally, Mr. Fabio Clavijo delved into the topic "Understanding the ASHRAE 62.1 Ventilation standard for acceptable indoor air quality".
The event also featured 10 stands of the main brands of air conditioning equipment and installation materials that Refrimundo distributes, such as Aspen Pumps, Cooltek, P3 Ductal, Diversitech, Italsan, Conex Bänninger, Innes, Soler & Palau, and CPS Products. They had the opportunity to exhibit their product virtually, additionally they had the opportunity to network with contractors, developers, consultants, builders, architects, engineers, air conditioning technicians and key customers of Refrimundo.
The virtual event was dynamic and full of valuable and current information for the HVAC market.
