Spain. A total of forty air purification equipment from Sodeca was installed in a ski resort located in the Pyrenees within the Principality of Andorra, known as Grandvalira, in Spain.
Coinciding with the inauguration of the snow season in the Andorran station, about thirty OF THE UPM equipment was first installed, with ultraviolet UVc technology with germicidal chambers, in the common spaces and transit of people. Last week they have received the rest of the units that will purify the air of the indoor facilities throughout the season. These purification units can be found, for example, in the rental of equipment, in all the restaurants of the sector, as well as at the entrances to the facilities, nurseries, offices or changing rooms.
Training by the Sodeca team
On January 12, a TECHNICAL TEAM FROM SODECA traveled to its facilities to carry out a training day aimed at operators, department managers and maintenance personnel.
The content of the training focused on explaining how these units are manufactured, their usefulness and how they are programmed. The Technical Team of Sodeca stressed the importance of placing the purifier in a visible space for the user and choosing the correct and strategic location. The functionality of these air purification units is to disable viruses and bacteria, eliminate mites and particles harmful to health and thus improve indoor air quality.
Grandvalira, safe space against Covid-19
This action is in addition to the recognition received for the adaptation to preventive health protocols to ensure maximum safety for workers and visitors. At the beginning of December, Grandvalira obtained a double certification (Bureau Veritas and OCA Global) as a safe space against COVID-19 in order to open the season with all the guarantees.
Both certifications guarantee the correct application of prevention and control protocols that minimize the risks of contagion of diseases caused by biological agents such as COVID-19.
