International. Mayekawa announced the development of a new air curtain with thermal protection for high temperature applications, called Thermoshutter ARX, which has initially been launched to the Japanese market.
Thermoshutter ARX is an air curtain unit that blocks heat generating a strong air circulation in the oven and its subsequent opening. A stable temperature can be achieved, which contributes to reducing the heat load and energy consumption in the furnace area.
Preventing heat leaks can also provide a safer working environment.
Blocks heat up to 200°C (392°F). Using 2 units in 1 area can improve maximum locking efficiency by up to 85% (Based on internal study). Ideal for industries that require heating and drying furnaces.
