Victaulic details manufacturing process that contributes to the environment

International. Victaulic shared the implementation of its eco-friendly practices in its products and processes in order to contribute to the reduction of the carbon footprint that affects the environment.

It should be noted that the company's commitment to environmental sustainability is increasing, as its manufacture includes the use of up to 90 percent recycled materials.

"In the installation process, Victaulic products significantly reduce waste and carbon emissions, allowing building systems and maintenance programs to operate at maximum efficiency ensuring the extension of their useful life," the company said.

Thanks to the "flameless bonding" method that reduces particulate matter emissions, the company contributes to preventing pollution in the construction sector, a method with which in 2007, with the installation of Victaulic couplings used worldwide, it was possible to avoid the emission of 145 metric tons of particulate matter, the equivalent of removing one million vehicles from the streets for a week.

"The piping system mechanical joining solutions offered by Victaulic increase system accessibility and enable the implementation of appropriate and comprehensive maintenance programs for HVAC units. This can mean a reduction in energy consumption of up to 20% less energy than in systems that do not implement regular maintenance, and could reduce total operating costs by up to 50%," the company said.
