Mexico. The company announced that as of July, Alejandro Preinfalk will be the new President and CEO of Siemens Mexico, replacing Juan Ignacio Díaz, who currently holds the position.
This novelty was presented because Díaz will now occupy a position as vice president at Siemens United States, however, the executive will continue to have a position as members of the Board of Directors for the brand's subsidiary in Mexico.
"It is with great pride that I am appointed effective July 1, 2020 as President and CEO of Siemens Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean in addition to my current position as VP of Digital Industries. It is a true honor to be the successor of Juan Ignacio Diaz, whom I thank for his excellent management and the great legacy he has left at Siemens Mexico. I wish him every success in his new position as Vice President and CCO at Siemnes USA," Alejandro said on his Linkedin account.
Alejandro Preinfalk has extensive experience in the company at a global level, in which he has been 27 years and 9 months, his first position there was as an automation engineer, and currently holds the position of Senior VP Digital Industries for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean. He is an electrical engineer, graduated from the University of Costa Rica with courses at Harvard, MIT, Stanford and the University of Michigan.
"The experience that both executives have will allow a harmonious and orderly transition within the company, in addition to ensuring effective continuity of leadership, as well as in the integration of Siemens' development plans in the region," the company's statement said.
