The manufacturer of ventilation systems, Sodeca, together with Pideca and Asmitec (two companies belonging to the same group) have presented to the City Council of Ripoll and the Regional Council the machine they have manufactured to disinfect the streets and that they will give to municipalities of the region so that they can use it.
DESINFECT-500 is the industrial disinfectant equipment to clean and disinfect quickly and easily by air-pushed nebulization. It is designed to be transported in different vehicles (trailers, trucks, pick up, forklifts), easy to handle and obtaining optimal hygiene in parts of difficult access quickly and easily. In this way, a clean and disinfected space is obtained in a short time saving important labor and liquid costs.
The manufacturers have already given one of these equipment, as a solidarity act to the municipalities of the region, to face the COVID-19 pandemic. The representatives of the three companies comment that the reason for giving up this equipment is to be able to support all the peoples, but especially the most unprotected, where elderly people generally live and that it is necessary to offer more help and efforts because it is a group at high risk of contagion of the virus.
On the other hand, once the pandemic is over, this equipment can also be used for other applications. For example, equip it with insecticides suitable for the elimination of pests. The misting system allows insecticides to be dispersed through the air and reach inaccessible sites obtaining results in a very short time.
