Brazil. Between March 11 and 12, Dannenge International, representing the brands RGF Environmental and Air Fixture - Pleinair, participated for the first time in the XXI Sannar - exhibition of air conditioning and refrigeration of the north northeast, which took place at the Senai Cimatec, in Salvador, Bahia.
The company showcased its products with RGI's PHI technology, which ensures indoor air quality in acclimatized environments and has the characteristic of promoting active protection through hydroionizing photos, which eliminate fungi, bacteria and viruses directly in the acclimatized environment. Photo-hydro ionizers can be applied both to air conditioning equipment and directly to the environment, using portable equipment. In addition to the introduction of the concept of active technology for the treatment of indoor air quality, the HEME LED was introduced, a novelty at AHR Expo 2020. This equipment has twice the life of conventional ionizers, is high performance and does not generate ozone, which makes environments safer.
By Air Fixture - PleinAir, Dannenge presented the products for insufflation and distribution of air in the floor, highlighting that, in addition to the proven improvement in indoor air quality, by avoiding the mixture of fresh air with polluted air from the ceiling diffusion system, of traditional application, they allow a significant reduction in energy consumption with air conditioning.
For Fernando Abreu, CEO of Dannenge International, the event was an opportunity to strengthen the relationship between customers in the Northeast region and market players, in addition to clarifying the advantages of PHI technology, the differences between this technology and RIC (Ionizing Catalytic Radiation), and warning about the misinformation that is published about certifications and approvals of products with RCI technology.
"We are pleased to participate in this edition of SANNAR. We receive in our stand great designers from this region, as well as customers, end users and market players. We also took the opportunity to clarify to the HVAC-R sector, information that is being erroneously disseminated about tests and certifications of RIC technology, already obsolete and banned in many countries for releasing ozone. The tests at the University of Kansas, USA, are the intellectual property of RGF and were conducted with PHI technology. I warn that the FDA (Food and Drug Administration - USA), does not certify air purification equipment, nor ANVISA, in Brazil, nor even NASA, in the USA, contrary to what has been propagated in the market by unscrupulous people who try, as always, to deceive the unwary. RGF is present in 58 countries, with more than 200 million products installed in the world and all products with PHI technology comply with NR 15," explains Abreu.
Dannenge also participated in the technical conferences, with the theme "Active systems in indoor air quality control", given by Ricardo Cherem de Abreu, mechanical engineer with a master's degree from UFSC and technical director of Dannenge International. In his lecture, he addressed the control of indoor air quality in acclimatized environments in Brazil, governed by the standards issued by the Ministry of Health and ABNT - Brazilian Association of Technical Standards.
"The topic evaluated the motivation and criteria included in existing standards, presenting their scope and limitations, as well as exploring alternatives to increase the effectiveness of systems designed to control indoor air quality, both in new facilities and in existing systems, focusing on the application of photocatalytic ionizers - PHI technology, and their additional advantages for air conditioning units," says Cherem.
