International. Carrier received in less than a year its fifth major award for the AquaEdge 19DV water-cooled centrifugal cooler.
Carrier recently received distinctions for the 19DV in Dubai as Innovative Manufacturer/Supplier of the Year 2019 in the Chiller category of the Climate Control Awards presented by CPI Industry. The 19DV, usually installed in the engine room and out of sight of the average occupant of a building, uses cooled water to efficiently provide cooling and heating to commercial buildings such as office buildings or hospitals.
In addition to operating efficiently, the 19DV uses a refrigerant with extremely low global warming potential that has the best possible safety rating and reduces the impact on ozone.

The innovative AquaEdge 19DV was initially launched in Asia in 2016 and then introduced in other regions, and gained a reputation for reliability and efficiency. With its most recent award, the cooler increased its long list of distinctions, including:
- Innovative Manufacturer/Supplier of the Year 2019 in the Chillers category of the Climate Control Awards presented by CPI Industry (United Arab Emirates)
- Green Product of the Year 2019 in the Energy Management category at the MENA (Middle East and North Africa) Region Green Building Awards (United Arab Emirates)
- Air Conditioning Product of the Year 2019 in the System/Autonomous category at the RAC Cooling Industry Awards (UK)
- Consulting-Specifying Engineer Product of the Year 2019 in the Boilers and Chillers category (United States)
- SEC-Senoko Green Innovation Award 2018 at the Singapore Environmental Achievement Awards (Singapore)
