International. Recognized as China's largest integrated transportation hub, the New Beijing International Airport covers an area of 1.4 million square meters with a central area of 0.6 million square meters. It began work recently and aims to accommodate 100 million passengers and 88,0000 aircraft per year.
Midea's commercial air conditioner won the bid for HVAC equipment. In addition, the brand customized the chiller solutions according to the requirements of the new airport, such as energy conservation, environmental protection and flexible operating conditions, etc.
The Midea high centrifugal chiller has a COP of up to 7.11 under AHRI conditions. The initially designed full falling film evaporator significantly improves heat exchange efficiency and reduces refrigerant cargo volume by more than 40%.
The units are powered by pure HFC refrigerant gas R-32. 100% factory performance tests, large investments in research and strict product quality requirements ensure high product reliability.
The commitment to this facility will allow savings of up to 17 million cubic meters of natural gas per year, which is equivalent to 21,000 tons of coal, as well as the reduction of more than 18,000 tons of carbon emissions.
