Brazil. Full Gauge Controls optimistically rated its experience at the last Febrava fair. The company projects a 30% growth in its sales in Brazil by the end of this year. The positive expectation is due to the resumption of the refrigeration sector and the results of the products presented during the fair.
This was the company's fifteenth participation as an exhibitor at the event, considered the largest in the HVAC-R segment in Latin America and an important showcase for industry innovations. In addition to presenting its novelties, Full Gauge Controls carried out a series of relationship actions, in partnership with Refrigeration Group (of Facebook): "Our goal is to maintain proximity with our audience and customers, so initiatives like these are vital. and, in this case, it culminated with a large audience ever-present at our booth," said the company's deputy commercial director, Rodnei Peres. For him, it is important to evaluate the results of the fair also in the long term: "We have to consider that these products that we launch now will reach their best sales in a period of 20 to 30 months, so we will feel the effects of Febrava until its next edition, within two years," he says.
Two brand novelties, the RCK-602 plus (first rack controller of the Rackontrol line) and q-core (controller for beverage showcases, part of a bold and high-tech design line) received the Innovation Highlight seal from Abrava to underline creativity in the HVAC-R market.
RCK-602 plus
RCK-602 plus is the first electronic controller in the Rackontrol line, intended for compression plants for commercial and industrial refrigeration applications of low and medium temperature. This controller performs the control and monitoring of the pressure or temperature by means of up to 6 configurable sensors, allowing the use of reserve sensors (backup) that come into operation automatically in case of need. It is a product dedicated to the control of condensing units and compression systems in parallel rack type through its 8 outputs for compressors or fans, being two analog outputs for proportional control and 6 digital relay outputs.
Designed to minimize the energy consumption of the cooling system, the controller has a new control logic: the progressive algorithm, which aims to adapt the cold demand required by the plant with the power of the compressor set, reducing the number of drives and deactivations of the equipment. And through the function for fluctuating condensation control, the temperature of the external environment is monitored to lower the condensation setpoint, thus reducing the compression ratio of the system and its energy consumption.
Simple to operate and configure, RCK-602 plus features internal buzzer (audible warning), key and exclusive screens for alarm monitoring that simplify the process of monitoring and identifying faults in the cooling system. Through its real-time clock (RTC) it is possible to automate commands and record the schedules of alarm occurrences. And through its USB connection it is possible to download the configuration parameters and perform the firmware update.

q-core
Controller for beverage displays with bold design and high technology, including Bluetooth communication to read the information through an exclusive app with many resources. It has 3 temperature sensor inputs, two digital inputs, True-RMS voltage monitor for input voltage analysis, protecting the compressor at times of peak voltage and low voltage (alarm out of range). Through an innovative logic, it performs automatic control programming for different conditions of use, generating a reduction in electrical energy consumption and efficiency in the cooling and de-icing processes. It also has functions of economic mode and fast-freezing (fast-freezing). Its 4 touchscreen keys allow easy access to the commands and 4 different and editable preprograms (recipes) for each type of refrigerator or conditioned product. The controller's 4 relay outputs directly drive compressor, lighting, de-icing and fan loads.
