Colombia. The manufacturer specializing in electrical components for industrial applications is looking for an independent sales agent with technical expertise and B2B sales experience (the company's products are not intended for consumers).
Technical Sales may be required to provide technical support to customers once they have purchased the products.
It is a complete sales role that requires technical skills (detailed product knowledge, understanding of technical specifications, and experience to understand customer requirements regarding product modifications when necessary). This feature also includes management tasks, tracking sales activity, writing reports, negotiating contracts, and occasionally participating in marketing tasks.
Summary
Technical sales have the main objective of generating new business from current and potential customers, in order to reach and exceed the assigned sales objectives.
Create, retain and develop relationships with current and potential customers, through visits, virtual meetings and workshops to present how the Company and its product portfolio can benefit them and solve their problems.
Customize the offer by directing your efforts to maximum customer satisfaction.
It develops in-depth knowledge and provides feedback on market trends, competition and customer needs.
Execute the Marketing/Sales campaigns in the assigned portfolio.
It supports the company's participation in events and exhibitions.
Requirements
- Degree in technical disciplines (Engineering, Physics), with emphasis on materials, heat transmission, mechanics, or equivalent experience.
- Know-how:
- HVAC-R Applications
- Temperature probes, NTC, PTC, PT100, PT1000, thermocouples
- Temperature controllers
- Thermodynamics and Heat Transfer.
- Metals and insulation materials
- Electronics - Testing, Instrumentation
- Experience with SAP-B1 as a plus
- Experience in sales in international markets as a plus.
- Experience in the sale / purchase of technical products.
- Experience in sales in the area of thermoregulation as a plus.
- Used to network with purchasing department and technical office (customer side)
- Availability to travel at least 50% of the time on average (potentially worldwide)
- Excellent communication skills, perseverance and tenacity.
