Spain. The Keyter-Intarcon group presented its novelties in control systems, new refrigerants, energy efficiency and respect for the environment, at the last edition of the Climatización & Refrigeración 2019 fair, which took place in Madrid from February 26 to March 1.
This has been a memorable edition for the group that has doubled its visits compared to the last edition, registering a very important increase in international visits.
Keyter, manufacturer of industrial air conditioning, presented its range of Persea ECO Rooftops with refrigerant R-513A HFO of low GWP =573 as a very suitable alternative for air-to-air equipment since it is totally safe, category A1 NON-flammable. In addition to the range of VRF Inverter Rooftops equipped with Inverter compressors and EC fans allowing maximum energy savings.
In chillers, he presented the Nemesis Modular equipment that through the union of different modules managed by the same electronic control allow to configure a cooling power of up to 1MW multiplying the flexibility. These equipment integrate DSH scroll compressors allowing to work with different refrigerants such as R454B low GWP=466, R452B low GWP=676, or refrigerant R410A.
For industrial environments or air conditioning with high refrigeration demand, it presented the pangea chiller range with screw compressor with refrigerant R1234ze (GWP=1). This range also allows multi-gas configurations with R513A, R450A and R134a.
It also presented its compact IT&POWER KCV-C 30kW equipment for cooling in IT applications and power electronics for wall installation in containers, technical rooms, etc. Available in both R410A and R513A/R134a refrigerant for high temperatures. It incorporates EC fans, electronic expansion valve and the possibility of direct three-gate air freecooling. They allow air dehumidification by means of electrical resistances to control humidity and optimize air treatment.
The three systems awarded by the Innovation Gallery as innovative and innovative systems presented by the group aroused great interest among the attendees demonstrating that the sector is in full evolution and that it needs the most efficient and environmentally friendly solutions that the Keyter-Intarcon group is currently proposing in accordance with market requirements.
For its part, Intarcon, a manufacturer of commercial and industrial refrigeration, presented its catalog of propane chillers (R290) at variable flow for commercial and industrial refrigeration, available in two constructions – intarCUBE and intarWatt – that provide a power of between 10 and 470 kW. Equipped as standard with inverted or semi-hermetic Frascold scroll compressors and built-in hydraulic group. Within the propane solutions, there are also hydronic equipment, combination of Sigilus chiller and aerocooler with a power range between 2 and 15 kW.
Among its CO2 solutions, it presented a rack of CO2 compressors in transcritical regime in single or double suction equipped with electronic modulating ejectors from Carel that provide greater energy efficiency to the system, with a power range between 20 and 300 kW, as well as evaporators for CO2 with a design pressure of 30 bar.
For industrial refrigeration, Intarcon also proposes low GWP solutions, such as R152 V-condensing intarWatt chillers with Frascold semi-hermetic compressors for a refrigeration production of up to 350 kW, and the compact industrial Superblock equipment for medium and large cold rooms for low working ranges, medium and high temperature.
The intarloop system of indirect condensation in water loop, is presented as the integral solution for commercial refrigeration in supermarkets, available in R134a and R449A for a power of between 0.5 to 5.5 kW. Finally, for small cold rooms, Intarcon proposes the R290 monoblock, and the door equipment that includes optionally, an air curtain integrated into the equipment that minimizes thermal losses.
Genaq, the newest company of the Keyter-Intarcon group, was also present at the event attracting curiosity about this new technology and its uses. Genaq has optimized the air conditioning and cooling technology to develop Atmospheric Water Generation equipment, allowing the obtaining of very high quality water anywhere in the world.
