Puerto Rico. The technical seminar on VRF systems was given in San Juan to 26 HVAC industry professionals from the Caribbean, Central and South America, which was held on February 21 and 22 at the new Oldach Training Center.
"Oldach Trading prepared for a select group of clients, coming from six countries: Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, El Salvador; a dynamic academic agenda and very practical fundamental knowledge, which undoubtedly reinforced the skills of the participants in the proper installation of VRF systems", commented Engineer Ramón Junco, Vice President of the Oldach Trading division and host of the event.
The first day of the educational day began with a presentation on the history and development of Oldach Associates LLC and its divisions; followed by the presentation of the group of people that make up the work team of both divisions. The president of Oldach, Engineer Felix Campos, addressed a few words of welcome to the participants, and then left Mr. Junco, with the presentation of the line of air conditioner products of his exclusive brand, Midea.
The academic agenda included five modules aimed at VRF systems. Some of the topics presented were: VRF selection program with AHRI and without AHRI, installation, operation and diagnostics, systems with AHU-Kit, centralized control systems and recommended maintenance practices.
During the last day of the seminar, the leader of the technical department for VRF systems, Mr. José Mussenden, officially presented the Midea technical training area, where he showed in the commercial equipment showroom, the installation and operation of the VRF system in the facilities.

During the closing of the event, Mr. Brian Liu, Caribbean area manager for Midea Comercial, who visited us directly from China for this event, addressed the participants and was part of the certificate delivery. Each guest was certified to participate in the training, for a total of eighteen hours.

In addition, this event officially inaugurates the Oldach Training Center, located in San Juan. This center has two technical training rooms, one of them aimed at the leading brand in air conditioners, Midea and three seminar rooms with space for over 150 people.
