Dominican Republic. The manufacturer of ventilation systems, Sodeca, in partnership with the Association of Mechanical Contractors, Acmerd, held on March 7 in Santo Domingo, a free training day in which different current issues related to ventilation were handled.
Engineer Oriol Raduá, expert in the design of ventilation and smoke control systems in parking lots, and specialist in CDF (Computational Fluid Dynamics) of fire in parking lots, was in charge of presenting the day.
The topics that were presented during the meeting were related to systems for the control of smoke and heat in parking lots, pressurization of stairs by means of a differential pressure system.
This event is part of a tour made by Sodeca, which began in Peru, then passed through El Salvador, Honduras and ended in the Dominican Republic.
