United States. In response to market needs and overwhelming customer requests, Hurst Boiler announced that it has begun manufacturing packaged water-tube design boilers. This extension of the product line complements its manufacturing capabilities of biomass and hybrid boilers, wet and dry.
"For years, customers have asked us about the reliability, efficiency and longevity of our Firetube/Hybrid and Biomass boilers to continue also with the manufacture of water-tube boilers. We believe it is the right time to enter the market with a more comprehensive strategy. This allows us to build on the success of our Performance series of Firetube boilers, along with our full line of biomass and hybrid boilers to now have a complete and deeper product offering that includes a full line of water-tube solutions," said Tommy Hurst. President and CEO.
All Hurst water-tube boilers will be manufactured in our newly renovated factory on our 50-acre corporate and manufacturing campus located in Coolidge, Georgia. "Before embarking on this decision, we carefully observed the state of the boiler business. We have done extensive work in developing intelligent processes with technology and advances in manufacturing, along with investments in equipment and factories, to reach a cost position that works for our company and our customers. We plan to become a force to be reckoned with in the water-tube space as well," Hurst said.
