International. ASHRAE Spain Chapter recently translated the ASHRAE Standard 1.3 – 2018 "Building O&M Training Associated with the Commissioning Process of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Installations".
The purpose of this guideline is to facilitate methods and formats for the development and implementation of training plans and programs and to document the results in the evaluation of the training of building personnel for the operation and maintenance of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration facilities during the Commissioning Process (Cx).
The procedures, methods, and documentation requirements of this guideline include the development of training plans, the preparation of training material, and the organization of training programs for O&M Personnel.
Although it has been developed primarily in support of ASHRAE Guideline 0, this document also completes the training aspects of ASHRAE Standard 202, "Commissioner Process for Buildings and Systems" and ASHRAE Guideline 0.2 "Existing Systems and Facilities Commissioning Process".
ASHRAE thanked the participation of collaborators and partners Andrea Quintana and Andrés Sepúlveda for their work translating this standard, which is a very important tool for professionals in the air conditioning and refrigeration sector, in particular and in the building sector in general.
