Mexico. Panasonic recently celebrated the commemoration of its foundational foundation and incidentally reach 40 years of operations in Mexico. For this reason, the Japanese company organized an exhibition in which it presented the most significant events in its history, emblematic products, new technologies for use in the home or company, and innovative solutions for the industry and business of the near future.
The Panasonic 100th Anniversary exhibition (held on September 13-14, at the WTC in Mexico City) brought together business partners, distributors, customers, users, media and collaborators in a space that recalled the ideas of innovation, creativity, social and environmental commitment, as well as the concepts of the corporate philosophy that distinguish the company founded by Konosuke Matsushita in 1918, in Osaka, Japan.
In addition, faithful to the legacy of its founder, Panasonic took advantage of this event to send a message of gratitude to Mexican society for the trust received by accepting the company's products, allowing it to do business and generate jobs in the country.
Currently, Panasonic de Mexico operates a manufacturing plant in the Municipality of Ixtapaluca, State of Mexico, where flat-screen televisions, audio systems and parts for other equipment are manufactured. Production from this plant is intended for both local consumption and export to the United States and Latin America. The company also has four corporate offices in Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey and Tijuana.
In addition to Panasonic de Mexico, Panasonic Corporation has 10 other companies in our country, contributing to the generation of employment for about 10 thousand people.
