Mexico. The Green Expo, an event that promotes new technologies to face Climate Change towards the Circular Economy, will be held from September 4 to 6, 2018 at World Tarde Center Mexico City.
Mexico is among the top ten most attractive countries with the highest investment in renewable energy. In the case of the photovoltaic sector, growth of 60% to 70% is estimated for the next six years.
The new electric model, derived from the Energy Reform, has allowed our country to meet its generation goals with clean energy. Currently in States such as Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, San Luis Potosí, Guanajuato, Jalisco, Morelos and Yucatán, solar projects developed by more than 172 solar energy companies are implemented, of which 84 are service providers and 88 are technology providers.
In this sense, 85% of the Mexican territory is optimal for the generation of solar energy and 15% has good conditions so for the next 15 years an investment of more than 100 billion dollars in electricity generation is expected according to the Energy Regulatory Commission.
According to official data from the Ministry of Energy, with the use of solar energy, up to 20,000 tons of greenhouse gases that pollute the environment can be avoided, since by supplying one's own energy, the use of fossil fuels that harm the planet is eliminated.
Likewise, it is contemplated that the installation of photovoltaic systems on the roofs of Mexican homes will increase from 60,000 to 120,000 by the end of 2018. While the goal of the industry is that 1.2 million homes can easily generate their own electricity, reduce costs in the electricity bill and mainly reduce the emission of carbon dioxide through the use of solar energy.
This event will present the latest photovoltaic technologies with the participation of innovative companies in the field of solar energy among which are: Conermex, DM Solar, Exel Solar, Geenergy, SDE, Solar Ecology Systems, among others.
