Chile. Through the Labor Skills Certification System, ChileValora and the Direct Treatment Program, 2018 section of the National Training and Employment Service, SENCE; 203 workers in the field of refrigeration, air conditioning and air conditioning, obtained the certification that recognizes the experience acquired throughout their working life.
Franco Martínez Landskron, evaluated in the downtown area, which corresponds to the metropolitan subproject, has been working for 11 years in the refrigeration sector, facing jobs independently and in large companies of the guild, such as MIMEC and ENGIE Service Chile. He has been mainly engaged in installing and maintaining domestic refrigeration equipment. Little by little he has been ascending in his career, until he becomes an outstanding technician in the field.
"The space of certification is very important for one as a worker of this specialty, to have this support. In my case, I have refrigeration studies, but this is not always the case of some colleagues, who for different reasons come to work in this area. The certification attests to our work, the effort I put into it and what I am delivering in each commitment I assume, both independently and in the companies in which I have been part of the team, "said Franco at the end of his evaluation.
Finally, the head of finance of the Labor Skills Unit of SENCE, Felipe Riquelme Pelayo, stressed the importance of supporting this type of evaluation programs through direct treatment financing, since they only work towards the optimization of people in their capacity as workers, emphasizing the work committed to sectors that do not have a wide range of certification centers.
It also highlights that Chile is a country with a high level of vision and with a perspective of the future rich in bets that value people and their knowledge.
