Uruguay. The company va-Q-tec, specialized in temperature-controlled logistics, announced the expansion of its international presence with a new headquarters and operations facility in Montevideo.
The new site will function as a key hub for va-Q-tec rental services and as a dispatch station from July 2018 onwards. The German stock exchange-listed company, which recently opened a new regional headquarters in North America, will invest in its market expansion in Latin America in the coming years.

"Montevideo, which is a central distribution center for the Southern Cone, with state-of-the-art airport facilities and easy access to major highways throughout the country, as well as near other pharmaceutical centers in Latin America, therefore, with our new hub, we will offer our current and future customers the best solutions for their temperature-controlled logistics needs."

Edgardo Ipar, Sales Director of Grupo América Latina and President of va-Q-tec Uruguay, has more than 20 years of experience in the logistics industry. He will lead the business in Latin America and serve va-Q-tec's growing regional customer base alongside the local team. By the end of 2018, va-Q-tec will own a global stock of approximately 2,000 containers that will transport products from the pharmaceutical industry worldwide.
