Chile. The International Exhibition of Solutions for the Electrical and Electronics Industry, Matelec, and the International Exhibition of Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, Genera, which were held between October 4 and 6, at the Espacio Riesgo Convention Center in Santiago de Chile, close their second and third editions, respectively.
A total of 5,287 professionals visited the two fairs, organized again jointly by Ifema and FISA. In addition, more than 300 business meetings were held at the contests.
In this edition, Matelec Latin America and Genera Latin America had the presence of a total of 68 companies, from 12 countries, such as Germany, Colombia, Chile, Spain, Slovenia or the United Kingdom, once again bringing together thousands of professionals in the energy sector, allowing each of them to focus on the most appropriate areas for their work by having the possibility to choose between the events and activities scheduled for these two Fairs.
In addition, a B2B Energy Business Roundtable was held, with more than 200 commercial meetings, in which exhibiting companies from both Fairs participated, in meetings with executives and representatives of various companies and organizations, promoting direct contact between supply and demand around solutions in the areas of distribution and electrical control, energy efficiency, renewable energies, technology suppliers, electrical installation components, energy and lighting solutions for smart buildings and cities, among others.
In Matelec and Genera Latin America, the latest developments in the sector at a technological level were presented, allowing professionals to know these new products that they can apply to their companies when carrying out their work. These novelties were located within various departments, such as management, consulting, communications, production.
