International. Schneider Electric launched an open and collaborative Internet of Things (IoT) platform for smart buildings that delivers enhanced value across the building ecosystem.
Using the latest in digital technology and solutions, the EcoStruxure building is specifically designed to meet the requirements of building owners and occupants, real estate developers, system integrators and facility managers.
EcoStruxure Building is the latest addition to Schneider Electric's EcoStruxure, its IoT-enabled open-plug-and-play architecture that delivers end-to-end solutions in six domains of expertise — power, computing, construction, machine, plant and network — for four end markets: construction, data center, industry and infrastructure.
With an open architecture, developers, partners, and customers can interact and share data securely using software development kits (SDKs) and application programming interfaces (APIs).
Philippe Delorme, Member of the Executive Committee and Executive Vice President of Construction and IT Business at Schneider Electric, said: "Today, our customers have a significant opportunity to improve the lifetime efficiency of their buildings, occupant comfort and productivity due to EcoStruxure Building. The proliferation of connected and intelligent systems and devices generates mountains of data that our customers and partners can now leverage, making building management as easy as ABC."
