Central America. Daikin unveiled a recent project in which it supplied its Daikin Magnitude air conditioning system for the Princess hotel chain in Central America, with which the chain has achieved significant energy savings, lower maintenance costs and great comfort for its guests.
"We have saved nearly 80,000 Kv per month, which represents a saving of US$387,000 between 2012 and 2014 for the three Princess San Salvador hotels, Managua and San Pedro Sula."
Daikin Magnitude with Magnetic Compressor is a technological innovation that uses compressors that rotate over a magnetic field, without friction, eliminating the need for oil in the system, ensuring maximum efficiency and reliability.
The manufacturer revealed that this type of system has already been installed on more than 3,000 occasions. Some of the technical characteristics are as follows:
- Up to 40% more efficient than a traditional centrifugal chiller.
- Compact size that minimizes space required for engine room and facilitates replacement work.
- R-134a refrigerant that does not damage the ozone layer.
- Low noise level.
- Now available up to 1,500 tons!
