Chile. Alejandro Requesens, current president of the Chilean Chamber of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning (CchRyC), has been elected to preside over the Federation of Ibero-American Associations of Air Conditioning and Refrigeration (FAIAR).
This appointment was confirmed during the meeting of presidents and delegations of each MEMBER COUNTRY of FAIAR, which took place on September 12 in Sao Paulo, Brazil, within the framework of the Febrava fair.
During the ceremony, the outgoing president, Wadi Tadeu, thanked the support given to him during his tenure and pledged the support of the Brazilian Abrava Association to continue strengthening FAIAR.
Using the FAIAR platform, Chile will organize the XV CIAR Chile 2019, whose work already began in May with the appointment of Heinrich Stauffer as president of the Organizing Committee.
The responsibility of the new president of FAIAR will be to strengthen the partnership and ensure that agreements, both closed and future, benefit partners on issues such as access to technical information, rules and / or regulations applied in partner countries, especially the most developed, access to training, both face-to-face and online, access to libraries of the different associations, in addition to obtaining global discounts, among others.
FAIAR is composed of the active associations of Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Portugal, Dominican Republic, Uruguay and Venezuela.
