Brazil. With the participation of around 300 exhibitors and the visit of more than 25,000 attendees, it closed the 20th edition of the International Fair of Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation, Heating and Air Treatment. In a sector where growth of 5% and a turnover of US$8.9 million is forecast in 2017.
ACR Latin America was present again at the event and visited the most outstanding companies in the Brazilian market that have interference in the Latin American region. There we highlight the focus of the fair on technologies for collection, recycling and regeneration of refrigerant fluids and the correct destination of cylinders and other inputs linked to the sector; a space called the Island of the Environment was also created, where good maintenance practices and equipment with sustainable technologies were presented.
In addition to the commercial exhibition, the fair had spaces such as Conbrava, which this year was held in parallel with the CIAR, an Ibero-American congress that brings together the entire region in a training space and that had the participation of important speakers from all over the world.
It should be noted that this year there were absences of important brands that did not participate as exhibitors, in addition to the fact that the commercial sample was a little smaller than in previous years. However, the exhibitors generally stated that Brazil is already on a road of recovery and that they expect the end of 2017 to be positive.
To mention some outstanding companies at the fair, Full Gauge, Samsung, Elgin, Bitzer, Panasonic, Danfoss, Heatcraft, Coel, Embraco, Chemours, Armacell, Delta Frio, Harris, Sanhua, Trox, Ziehl Abegg, Carel, Honeywell, Emerson, Multi Wing, Powermatic, Serraff, among others, were present.
