French independent power producer Neoen, global energy management and automation specialist Schneider Electric, announced the signing of a multi-year framework agreement of 750 MW Conext SmartGenTM on three continents. This collaboration is an initiative to provide more accessible and reliable clean energy.
The scope includes:
Conversion stations composed of 1500V converters,
Medium voltage switches,
Transformers
Monitoring system
Control, as well as maintenance services during the life cycle.
Neoen decided to sign this partnership to secure electrical design, launch network impact studies at an early stage of the development process, and leverage volumes.

Working with Schneider Electric on the Cestas 300 MW project, we were very pleased with their level of involvement, responsive service team and track record of solutions for high-performance operating plants," explained Xavier Barbaro, Managing Director of Neoen.
