International. The Italian company Carel highlighted a success story in which it installed one of its latest solutions in the Historic Center of Verona, Italy. In the new iN's store opened in December 2016, the Heos system was installed.
This system can be installed in rooms with little equipment, the cooling circuit is easier to install, fewer welds are needed, and it is much easier to identify any refrigerant leaks.
The iN's store in Verona has seven showcases configured in stand-alone mode, both for medium and low temperature, and a showcase configured in multi-evaporator mode, all connected to the same water circuit and always in free cooling mode (with a simple dry-cooler).
The company explained that the combination of Heos controllers and the boss monitoring system has allowed the introduction of new plug-in functionalities. The computing and visualization power offered by boss, combined with the information collected by the Heos controls, allows an immediate and simple analysis of energy and thermodynamic performance, including a comparison with a traditional supermarket. This means energy and cost savings, efficiency and quality control.
