Colombia. In the municipality of Girardot, Cundinamarca, a parallel system was installed in a renowned chain of warehouses. The project was carried out by the company TMV Ingeniería.
The commercial chain Almacenes la 14 had the installation of electronic pressure regulating valves (CDS) which offer an energy economy of around 10% compared to conventional technology.
In addition, a variable speed drive was installed for the condensing unit with which they intend to obtain constant pressure and thus achieve a saving of 8% in energy and power consumption. The system has seven compressors, half and three low, a digital compressor in each suction group (smart) for the management of capacities from 12% to 100%.
In addition, the facility offers a state-of-the-art Einsten RX300 digital controller, which can be monitored and configurable remotely. Additionally, to gain better control over energy and power consumption, the company installed an Emerson power logger.
The project was completed in mid-2015.
