Colombia. The company specialized in refrigeration projects, Refrisistemas Industriales, shared the realization of an industrial refrigeration project in the town of Mosquera, Cundinamarca.
The project is known as the Industrial Refrisistemas Training Center which was born from the importance and need to generate knowledge through practice. The project has real equipment and systems that an operator can manipulate to learn the rules of operation and maintenance of all types of refrigeration system installed in the industry; likewise, you can work with the refrigerants: ammonia, co2, synthetic and secondary.
The operator will have access to several types of compressors: screws, reciprocating, open and semi-hermetic, evaporative and air condensers, evaporators and diffusers, in addition to cooling systems: recirculated, flooded and direct expansion.
The project originated with the design of the different laboratories in 2013 and its installation began in 2014. The idea arose more than 20 years ago when he saw the need to learn how to operate an ammonia refrigeration system in a formal, safe and efficient way. The development of the project and its implementation took two years (2013 and 2014) and formally began operations in 2015. The staff of Refrisistemas Industriales de Centroamérica was the one who carried out all the assembly of the laboratory. Currently, the development of automated process control projects is continuing.
