Brazil. Trane provided the air conditioning equipment in the pit, ground floor support and Paddock areas of the Formula 1 Grand Prix, which will take place at the Interlagos circuit in Sao Paulo from November 11 to 13.
TVR LX solutions, which are part of the company's Variable Refrigerant Flow Systems (VRF) portfolio, will be used.
The need to adapt to the international standards required by the International Automobile Federation (FIA), sought a modern, efficient and automated solution. To meet these needs, Trane conducted a comparative roi study between the use of mini splits and a VRF system, concluding that the latter option would better serve the demand of the racetrack.
TVR LX systems are designed to maximize user comfort, by combining the required cooling or heating load in each area without overheating or overheating, keeping the temperature within a range of 0.5°C from the set nominal value.
"The choice of an installer who brought together all the necessary skills to face the challenges and demands of the project was also fundamental to the success of the project, hence the importance of strategic alliances, such as the case of Trane and the installer of the VRF System", said Marcelo Amarante, commercial manager of Trane in Sao Paulo.
