The AHR Expo 2017 will present several technological innovations

United States. Companies participating in the AHR Expo Las Vegas 2017, which will take place from January 30 to February 1, will present a number of new and updated products in 2017.

With approximately 80 percent of exhibitors indicating that they will be exhibiting new or improved products, systems and technologies at the Las Vegas Show next January, the AHR Expo floor is slated to address a myriad of interests from all facets of the industry.

Exhibitor innovations will also reflect numerous HVACR industry trends, including those associated with growing growth across the residential and commercial construction markets.

In HVAC/R you will see new features such as the following:

  • A high-quality refrigerator that combines compact, lightweight space with quiet, energy-efficient operation for heat exchange in VRF, geothermal loop, or economizer functions of an HVAC chiller system.
  • A mini heat pump ductless wall split, providing high-efficiency heating and cooling for light residential and commercial applications, with built-in WiFi capabilities
  • A series of AHRI-certified air traffic controllers facilitate installation and service, with a high-efficiency multi-speed ECM motor designed to provide optimally efficient operation with a range of compatible condensing units.
  • A temperature-initiated adaptive defrosting control solution that can reduce the daily defrosting cycles of commercial refrigerators and freezers by 40% or more; Designed to meet Department of Energy (DOE) conservation standards, the unit uses smart sensing technology to thaw evaporator coils on demand/only when needed.
  • A set of air conditioning sizing and selection software modules designed for the rapid and simplified selection of outdoor air heat recovery systems and preconditioning systems for HVAC applications in hospitals, offices, education, among other commercials.
