Venezuela. At the "La Chinita" International Airport in the city of Maracaibo, the air conditioning system of that air terminal was reinforced with the installation of seven new air conditioning equipment.
The project was led by Bolivariana de Aeropuertos (BAER), which said it had a cost of 40 million bolivars. Five direct expansion units of 25 tons were installed, located in the central zone and checkpoint in the international terminal and two units of 20 tons that were installed in the national disembarkation in areas of luggage belts and arrival of travelers.
In total, 165 tons of refrigeration were installed. The project also included preventive maintenance to existing air systems.
The work will benefit more than 4 thousand passengers who move every day through this airport to national destinations such as Maiquetía, Valencia, Barcelona, Porlamar, Maturín and international destinations such as Aruba, Curacao, Panama and Miami.
