International. Juan David Payares, is the business manager of Electrolux for the Home Confort division, who spoke about the present and future projects that the company has in Latin American territory, which works in the region under its Frigidaire brand.
The representative of the European company highlighted some aspects of the participation strategy in this region: "The strategy of Latin America is to capture at least 10% of participation in each of the markets, we already have it in some, but we still lack other countries."
The executive spoke about the remarkable growth of the company in recent years in Latin America, where, for example, in Colombia before they only sold two products, and now they have a portfolio of more than 15 products, and similar case in Honduras, where they have a 30% share at the retail level. "We have more than 50 customers and allies in Central America and the Caribbean, we are present in countries like Puerto Rico, and in Panama they are also very happy to see the brand."
On the ecological aspect, Juan David commented that his company is at the forefront in the generation of environmentally friendly equipment: "We handle ecological gases R410a, we have a team that is always researching new refrigerants, materials, certifications, and we are always attentive to certify the products under the necessary regulations of each country".
Electrolux was present at the last RefriAméricas de Panamá where it unveiled the new lines of minisplit air from 9 thousand to 24 thousand BTU, basic systems of fixed compressor and inverter SEER 16, 20, 22, among others.
"I'm so glad I came across ACR. Thanks to you and the RefriAméricas fair, we managed to meet the goals we had set for 2016; today we have several distributors at the regional level, we had orders that came out of the fair, and we will really be present at the next one and we will promote it.
