Mexico. In a commemorative event in which the management and employees were present, the opening of Plant 3 of Güntner de México was carried out.
The inauguration of the venue was chaired by the Global CEO of the Christian Weiser Group, Managing Director Mr. Michael Schmid, CFO Mr. Javier Tamez and the members of the Board of Directors of the Güntner Group, Mr. Andrés Ochoa, Mr. Miguel Puente, Mr. José María González, as well as Mr. Carlos Ross, Honorary Consul of Germany in Monterrey. The official opening of Plant 3 of Güntner de Mexico was proclaimed by Mr. Javier Tamez at 08:25 hours on May 4.
In a second opening event, on May 31 Güntner de Mexico offered its customers the opportunity to visit its facilities and thus learn more about the production process of the Ecoss evaporative condenser.
Güntner de México expands its production area through a third plant focused on the exclusive manufacture of the Ecoss line, both in its condenser and fluid cooler mode, both of evaporative type. With this expansion, Güntner seeks to meet the growing demand for this product and also free up more production capacity in its other plants to manufacture more equipment from other lines of business.
Until April of this year, Ecoss had been manufactured at Güntner's second production plant in Mexico. However, the considerable growth in sales of this product after its launch in 2014, required the company to increase both its production area and its warehouses, which in turn allows to free up space in Plant 2 -inaugurated just two years ago- to add new products for the commercial refrigeration market, mainly for export.
Like its first two production plants, Güntner de México's new industrial warehouse is located in the municipality of Apodaca, in the state of Nuevo León. The new Plant 3 represents for Güntner de México an increase in production area of 40% and an increase in total area of 35%.
