The organization La Ruta del Clima held a few days ago the Webinar: Introduction to the Carbon Footprint, in which topics such as definitions and concepts, Carbon Footprint measurement, Applied cases in Latin America and perspectives: challenges and opportunities were handled.
Throughout the webinar, various specialists in Environmental Management talked about the importance of using the Carbon Footprint as a tool that allows the measurement of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions generated by a person, a company, a service or by the life cycle of a product. Examples were also given of mitigation and compensation measures that can be employed to reduce the negative impacts caused by our activities.
